Students around the country have been taking the lead, speaking out against Israel’s plausible genocide, standing up for a permanent ceasefire and justice for all, and calling their own schools to account. Some college and university administrations are leading by example, listening, negotiating, and entering into agreements. Here are some examples:

However, many others, indeed most, as if using the same playbook, have been heavy-handed, dismantling encampments and criminalizing protests.
