Minnesota Conference Congregations join together in a Walk for Gaza

On Saturday, March 23, members of Minnesota Conference UCC churches joined other faith communities and walked in solidarity with the people of Gaza. The route took participants along the banks of the Mississippi River. Some walked the full 24 miles in that one day, a distance chosen by design to be equivalent to the length of Gaza. Others walked shorter portions of the route. Walkers pictured in the photo above include members from six UCC congregation: Mayflower UCC, New Brighton UCC, Lyndale UCC, Plymouth Congregational, First Congregational UCC, and Macalester Plymouth United Church.
